    Nirajadhi is joining us to share her 25+ years of meditation experience with us. She’ll lead an evening focused around meditation, with a chance to share with others and ask questions for those that want to. Hosted by the Bristol Young Buddhists team.

    The shape of Sangha (community) Works is a gentle group check in 10am-10:30am, followed by Sangha-building devotional acts-such as cleaning the loo’s, planting bulbs, sorting library books, making book displays and making shrines. A task to fit each persons energy and capacity.

    Stay on after for the lunchtime meditation class (1-2.30pm)  or just turn up to dip your toe into the Triratna sangha atmosphere!

    The Magic of Mantra

    Introductory Sangha Singing

    One way of relating to mantra is as the casting of a spell. When we chant the names and qualities of a particular Buddha or Bodhisattva figure, we bring them into a mysterious sense of being. We cast a spell with our voices, and Tara, or Shakyamuni, or Padmasambhava, ‘appears’ – in the vibrations of the air, in the ripples of our breath.

    Silent & Simple: in meditation

    Advanced Meditation Sangha Sangha Meditation

    Please note the class will be a little different this time! A guest teacher will be covering for Nirajadhi.

    For experienced meditators who are able to sit for 50mins unguided.

    50min unguided sit, 20min walking, and another sit.

    Join Nirajadhi and friends for a silent and simple session of practice.

    11am PROMPT start. Doors open 10:50am.
