The Buddhist Centre is located at 162 Gloucester Road, BS7 8NT on the A38 about 1.5 miles north of Bristol City Centre. There is a shop-front with a Bristol Buddhist Centre sign above it. Our entrance is through the courtyard to the side of the shop-front.

We have cycle racks in the courtyard and on the pavement near the Centre.

First Bus routes 73, 75/76 from the city centre stop nearby. Also some Wessex Star routes. There is also a train line that stops in Montpelier and Redland from which you can walk to the centre (approx 15mins).

You can also park on side-streets near to the Centre. There are parking restrictions on the Gloucester Road during weekdays from 7.00am to 6.30pm. Check the road signs to be sure.

Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity in the way we share Buddhist teachings. Therefore most of our meditation and Buddhism activities are offered on a generosity basis – what you contribute is left to your generosity. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to or can't afford to, but we hope you'll be able to contribute appropriately so more people can benefit. To learn more see donate
