Kshanti: The Yearning and Yielding of the Heart

“The urge to Enlightenment, the urge to something above and beyond the world, is innate in all life, but it is a blind urge, like that of a plant groping for the light.” – Sangharakshita (The Drama of Cosmic Enlightenment)

How do we contact and honour the deep yearning to grow which is ever-present within our own hearts? Can we yield to this same desire in the myriad living beings which surround us, even more...

    Mindful Yoga

    Yoga

My name is Claire-Louise and I have been teaching Scaravelli inspired hatha yoga classes in Bristol since 2006.

    Claire-Louise

I see yoga as more of an art form than a form of exercise. If we can engage our curiosity whilst moving with the breath, then yoga  is like experimenting with the melody, tone, volume and pitch of the body.

In this way our practice can become more like a meditative dance where the breath, body, and mind are interconnected and we more...

    Make & Meditate

    Arts

In this first Make & Meditate morning of 2024 we will be using collaging as a way of playfully looking more...
