Newcomers

Welcome! We hope to see you at the Centre soon – see below for info on our classes and events.

Intro Courses & Events

Uncover genuine ease, contentment and meaning in life through exploring profound yet simple teachings. Come together with others to learn, discuss and discover the means to uncover how to become the change you want to see. No experience of Buddhism or meditation required.

Bristol Young Buddhists

If you’re aged 18 – 35 then come and meet other Buddhists or ‘Buddhist curious’ people around your age. Our main event is the first Friday of the month! We hold socials / meet ups in between.

Meditation for Beginners

A great way to sample meditation for the first time or to get refreshing support and clarity to help you set up a regular practice.

Mindful Yoga

A mindful yoga practice focusing on the body and sensations (somatic awareness) with meditative, dynamic sequences and breath work. Suitable for all levels of experience.

Make & Meditate

Join us for a craft session and a meditation. Our friendly make & meditate class is here for you to dip into meditation, get to know some other creative people and walk away with a fabulous creation!

Inclusivity & Access

Sometimes it can be useful to practice in a context with people who have had similar experiences within society. Or you may want to see what we offer to help people access Buddhism and our Centre (or give us feedback!)

We’re keen to develop a culture of generosity so there is no set charge for most of our classes and events, but we invite you to give what you can to keep us sharing Buddhism and meditation for those following in your footsteps!

Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity in the way we share Buddhist teachings. Therefore all our meditation and Buddhism activities are offered on a generosity basis – what you contribute is left to your generosity. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to or can't afford to, but we hope you'll be able to contribute appropriately so more people can benefit. To learn more see donate
