    Dharma Festival Day

    Festival Sangha

    So far this year we’ve come together in February to mark the beauty and poignance of the Buddha’s paranirvana, and in May to joyfully celebrate the awe-inspiring wonder of his Enlightenment.

    A special evening practicing together and welcoming back Kayamoksini (ex Joy from the Sangha Night team) who’s been on an extended ordination retreat in the remote mountains in Spain.     Sangha Works

    Sangha Sangha Works

    The shape of Sangha (community) Works is a gentle group check in 10am-10:30am, followed by Sangha-building devotional acts-such as cleaning the loo’s, planting bulbs, sorting library books, making book displays and making shrines. A task to fit each persons energy and capacity.

    Stay on after for the lunchtime meditation class (1-2.30pm)  or just turn up to dip your toe into the Triratna sangha atmosphere!

    Intermediate Meditation Class

    Intermediate Meditation Sangha

    The lunchtime class is a weekly class that runs between 1 and 2pm on Wednesdays. If you have time you can stay on afterwards for our class group discussion from 2 till 2.30pm. With Bhadra, Clare and Claire-Louise.

    By donation, no need to book.

    Explore meditation further with this friendly class.

    There is an optional half hour after the class to sit and discuss your experience.

    Introductory Meditation

    Our beginners classes are a great way to sample meditation for the first time or to get refreshing support and clarity to help you set up a regular practice.

    Full instructions will be given including how to sit comfortably in a chair or on cushions on the floor. We’ll introduce our meditation practices, one each week – either the mindfulness of breathing which develops calm, focus and wholeheartedness, or a loving kindness (metta bhavana) meditation which develops emotional more...
