Sangha Sangha Night

Continuing our exploration of the symbolism of the Buddha Mandala, this week will be exploring the lotus. A key simple in Buddhism it is particularly associated with Amitabha and the family of Buddhas and Bodhisattva figure over which he presides.

But what is the significance of the lotus and why does it appear so often in Buddhist symbolism? As a symbol what can it tell us about our own spiritual lives.

Naravira will give a talk about the lotus and there will a chance to explore in small groups and share our experience.

Arrive from 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start.

For those who have completed an intro course at any time.

Please do give for the classes and events you attend. Every financial gift is appreciated, and it is with your generosity that our centre is here and thriving.
