Sangha Night

Tonight we celebrate welcoming two new mitras into the community, Greg and Adam.

These ceremonies are an important and symbolically significant event for the sangha (community) as well as the individuals who are becoming mitras. ‘Mitra’ means ‘friend’ and by becoming a mitra (a friend to the Triratna Buddhist Order) the individual is making a commitment to practising Buddhism within this context. Find out more here.

This class is open to those who have completed an Intro Course with us.

Please note next week is one of our ‘Out of the Box’ events at Sangha Night.

This is our community night! It is suitable for those who have completed an introductory course with us at any time.

Doors open at 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start.

We rely on your donations to keep our doors open and our classes running. It is due to the gifts of those who have come along previously that we are here now sharing meditation and Buddhism. To be part of this continuing flow of care and generosity to others, please do donate here.

Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity in the way we share Buddhist teachings. Therefore all our meditation and Buddhism activities are offered on a generosity basis – what you contribute is left to your generosity. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to or can't afford to, but we hope you'll be able to contribute appropriately so more people can benefit. To learn more see donate
