Science & Spirituality - Sangha Night
This event has already happened.
It can sometimes seem that the scientist and spiritual person are in two distinct camps. On the one hand, the scientist feels they seek answers to the mysteries of the universe by keeping their feet firmly on the ground, and perhaps look with distain at the faith-without-evidence of the spiritual person. The spiritual person, on the other hand, while seeking answers to their own questions, possibly looks condescendingly at the scientist’s faith in materialism.
But are these characterisations accurate? More importantly, do we risk joining one of these camps and thereby risk isolating ourselves from tools and knowledge that could help us on our own path?
