Qi Gong – Going with the flowTim Mason & Satyalila

‘Qi Gong’ can be translated as ‘energy practice/skill/ effort’. So it can be directly connected to the theme of our retreat the 2022 Urban Retreat, ‘Effort & Effortlessness‘.

The core components of Qigong practices are the mind, the body, and the breath. By harnessing these three together, we can practice ‘right effort’, exercising our intention without trying too hard.

We will share some gentle movement practices that first wake us up, then loosen us up in preparation for ‘going with the flow’ of our own energy – both physical and emotional.

You can join ‘in person’ at the centre, or by Zoom. Please note that the Zoom link given here is different from the link used for other parts of the Urban retreat (no password required).

Here is a flavour of the type of Qi Gong Tim will be leading.

This is a hybrid event – both in person and online.

When attending events in person at the centre please make sure you’re familiar with our covid guidelines. Bring a mask! And doing a lateral flow test before coming helps reduce risk.
