MINDFULNESS YOGA: CULTIVATING AWARENESS WITH KINDNESS
In these sessions, we focus on unifying and bringing gentle awareness to our body, breath, and mind. The pace is considered, encouraging us to integrate mindfulness not only into our yoga practice but also into our daily life.
We will explore physical sensations and breath, noting our thoughts and feelings, all through a lens of love and kindness (metta). This internal approach helps us learn poses (asanas) from the inside out, fostering a deeper, more loving and skilful connection with ourselves and our yoga practice.

MEET YOUR TEACHER: EMMA
300hr Mindfulness Yoga Teacher, Emma has trained in yoga and meditation, based in Buddhism Mindfulness principles with Bodhiyoga, in Valencia. Her teaching is enriched by a love for nature, a background in creativity and storytelling (film and theatre), and a personal understanding of the nervous system. This fuels her interest in somatic healing techniques, allowing her to offer classes that are both considerate and that encourage a deep awareness and metta (love and kindness).
WHO IS IT FOR?
These sessions are open to all adults (18+), welcoming both beginners and those with intermediate experience. For anyone wanting to support their physical, mental, social wellbeing and spiritual practice.
The centre has some mats you can borrow, otherwise please bring your own yoga mat with you.

An opportunity to deepen and bring greater commitment to your yoga practice.
Over six Friday evenings, we will be looking into the essence of twists, forward bends, back bends, inversions, balances, core work and sun salutations, with key yoga principles woven in.
We will be moving away from what it looks like to what it feels like: unlocking true understanding of these areas from within, allowing you to fully engage your body, breath and mind, and get the most out of your yoga practice. The aim is to build confidence through spending the time deepening your understanding and experience.
Expect a welcoming, down-to-earth environment with a thoughtful pace, and an emphasis on a meditative quality to practising hatha and yin inspired yoga.
