For those training for ordination and Dharmacharinis

‘Without Contraries is No Progression’

Bringing all the different, contrary, aspects of ourselves into creative relationship is a key part of the Dharma life.  Bhante spoke about this often and it was a personal concern for him, as well as being the first stage of our System of Practice (‘Integration’).

Satyalila will lead an interactive women’s afternoon exploring all this with the help of Bhante and his great inspiration, the poet/painter William Blake, whose 264th birthday is that very day, Sunday 28 November.  The session runs from 1.30 – 4.30 pm in person at the Buddhist Centre.  There will be images, poetry and music.

All Dharmacharinis and women Mitras training for ordination welcome – bring a notebook and pen, sketchbook or whatever you might like as a means of capturing your responses.  (Also fine to just sit and reflect, if you prefer.)
