We are doing things a little bit different this year… and we would love you to be a part of it!
For our Sangha Retreat we are heading to the beautiful Adhisthana Retreat Centre in Herefordshire. This year, whilst we will be going together as a Sangha, there will be other Sanghas from the UK and Ireland on the same retreat. (Please do note that you need to book ASAP as places are limited and disappearing fast.)
A retreat provides a space for meditation, getting to know others and reflection on Buddhist teachings. People often find these times precious and insightful.
Our discussion groups will be with Bristol folk and led by Bristol Order Members, including Bhadra and Naravira. The teaching and meditations will be alongside other groups and led by Parami and Nagabodhi. Such a rare context and opportunity to get stuck in with these experienced teachers.
We will be looking at a remarkable Buddhist text that packs a life-changing punch. Exploring our ideals together, we will look into what they are and how to put them into action in the world.
Dates & Suitability:
7th – 14th July 2023
This retreat is suitable for those who are familiar with the core Triratna meditation practices (Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana – as taught on the Intro Course), Mitras and Order Members.
