30 APRIL – 4 MAY

Led by Dhammarati, Vidyamala + Maitriyogini

The Direct Path to Awakening through the Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta

Join us for a transformative exploration into the heart of Buddhist mindfulness with two seasoned teachers, Vidyamala and Dhammarati. Drawing on decades of deep study and lived practice of this text, they will guide you through the profound teachings of the Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta—a foundational discourse in the Buddhist tradition and one of the most revered texts on mindfulness.

This programme offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of mindfulness as an indispensable quality on your path to liberation. You’ll learn how to bring awareness to your moment-by-moment experience and discover the “point of freedom”—the vital choice-point where you can pause, step outside of habitual reactivity, and turn your mind towards peace and clarity.

Through guided practice, reflection and embodied presence, you’ll cultivate a deeper connection to your body, thoughts and emotions. You’ll learn how to stay grounded and relaxed even amid challenge, developing the capacity to meet life with wisdom and compassion.

Whether you’ve recently learned to meditate or been practising for decades, this retreat will offer insight, inspiration and a practical roadmap for inner freedom. With warmth and clarity, Vidyamala and Dhammarati will share the fruits of years spent mining the Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta—offering not only its original wisdom, but also how it comes alive in real human experience today.

Come and discover how mindfulness can be a radical act of love and awakening.
