12th-19th August!

A week of working together to maintain and develop our beautiful centre. Working alongside others can be a connecting experience and give a sense of meaning and purpose. Triratna has a strong history of the community working together to create spaces, groups and situations for people to practice in effectively.

If you’d like to be part of this then do get in touch with which days you can make it. If you have certain skills you’d like to contribute then do share. Or if there’s certain tasks you’d rather not do then let us know.

Email Esme with the days and times you can make it between 12th and 19th August (inclusive) – info@bristol-buddhist-centre.org

The day will start with a check-in and short meditation. Lunch will be provided. At the end of the day we come back together to close.

Arrive from 9:45am for a 10am start.

Examples of types of tasks:

DIY – mending gutters, painting, fixing up basement shrine room, re-doing double toilet, constructing raised flower beds, etc.

Cleaning – pressure washing steps, cleaning shrine decorations, clearing out cupboards, etc.

Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity in the way we share Buddhist teachings. Therefore all our meditation and Buddhism activities are offered on a generosity basis – what you contribute is left to your generosity. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to or can't afford to, but we hope you'll be able to contribute appropriately so more people can benefit. To learn more see donate
