PART 4: A SAW POINT

We shall abide with compassionate concern, with hearts of kindness, without anger inside…

We shall abide pervading the whole world with a vast, magnificent, immeasurable heart full of kindness, free from hatred and without ill-will.

When you meet unkindness or harsh speech, are you able to stay cool and not react?

Are you able to go even further and meet that person with kindness yourself?

In the discourse called The Simile of the Saw we meet the lady Vadehika, and the canny servant who decides to test her employer’s patience.
