Sangha Night: The Distinct Emphases of Triratna

Sangha Night: The Distinct Emphases of Triratna

Tue Apr 7th 2026 7:30pm - 9:30pm
booking not required
by donation

Manjurava will be leading us in exploring the Six Emphases of Triratna to help us understand what Triratna is.

This will involve the historical perspective of Buddhism, which leads into a non-sectarian approach, the centrality of Going For Refuge and a Unified Order.

Triratna also draws out elements of Buddhism that are particularly relevant in our Western setting – friendship, work and the arts.

Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity in the way we share Buddhist teachings. Therefore most of our meditation and Buddhism activities are offered on a generosity basis – what you contribute is left to your generosity. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to or can't afford to, but we hope you'll be able to contribute appropriately so more people can benefit. To learn more see donate
