Sangha Night - Practice Evening
This event has already happened.
We will be meeting on Sangha Night this week to practice together.
From the results of our survey last year, one aspect that many of you asked to see more of, was to simply come together to practice.
It can be easy to forget the benefits of collective practice, perhaps especially since the Covid pandemic has tended to make many of us more isolated.
Practicing together, by doing meditation and shared ritual, can work against this sense of isolation.
Shared practice in this way is also a foundation of Sangha. The Buddha himself recommended the benefit of it.
We have also re-introduced our twenty minute tea breaks at classes. The urn is back on and tea is available!
For many of us with busy lives, this opportunity to come down to the Buddhist Centre and meet each other, as well as to make new friends, can form an important part of our Sangha life.
No need to book for an in person place!
Join from 7:15 for a 7:30 start.
Please familiarise yourself with our covid guidelines before attending in person. Do bring a mask with you, and do a lateral flow test if you can before attending.
