‘Everything depends for its existence upon other things, and so on until all the threads of existence – physical, mental, moral, and spiritual – are knot together into a single interrelated, interconnected, interdependent fabric.  Nothing is aloof or single, nothing isolated, nothing separate.  A flower blooms in dependence on the whole universe, and the whole universe exists in dependence on the flower’. Sangharakshita, Crossing The Stream.

We can often feel the opposite of what the Gandhavyuha sutra is pointing to – disconnected and alone with our experience.  So where and how do we feel more intimately and closely interconnected with ourselves, others, and the universe, and why is this important anyway?!

We continue the rich Wisdom of Interconnectedness theme with a talk from Maitrijyoti, exploring the elements, the body and meditation practice.  There will be opportunity to reflect on our own experience in relation to this material.

Do bring a mask with you for when walking around the building and when chanting (not whilst sitting and socially distanced). We may request mask wearing for the benefit of a clinically vulnerable person. Please read our covid guidelines before attending in person.

If you are clinically vulnerable then contact the class leader to discuss your needs prior to the event.
