Aged 18 - 35 Retreat

Everyday life may be joyous, painful, plain sailing or just plain dull, but ultimately we’re usually left with a lingering sense of dissatisfaction. The Dharma offers us an alternative. By setting our compass to the values of beauty, truth and a fiery ‘goodness’, we can start to free ourselves and transform the world we live in.

Spend your bank holiday Monday with others in their twenties and early thirties, immersed in a retreat-like environment of meditation, discussion and friendship. At the Bristol Buddhist Centre from 10.30am-5pm (doors open 10am). Anyone aged 18-35 is welcome! Bring a vegan/veggie lunch to share.

Led by Ksantikara and Bristol Young Buddhists

Ksantikara is 29 and lives at Adhisthana, where he convenes the Triratna young people’s project. Before that, he lived and worked at the London Buddhist Centre for 5 years. He’s a friend of the Bristol Young Buddhist’s team and we are delighted to have him sharing Buddhism and meditation with us for the day.
