In the face of impermanence, what do we turn to?  What can we trust to be true, lasting and satisfying?  In the last days before his final passing into Parinirvana the Buddha urged his followers to live with the Dhamma as your island, the Dhamma as your refuge, with no other refuge.   Join us on Parinirvana Day as we follow the Buddha’s final teachings and hear his call to take the Dharma into our hearts and minds. There will also be a space in the puja in which to remember with metta those who have died in the last year.   Feel free to bring photographs to put on the shrine.

With Vimalavajri and Prajnamati.

We are only here because you give. Without your financial gifts the Centre wouldn’t be here. These festival days wouldn’t happen and we wouldn’t be sharing the Dharma and meditation with the people of Bristol. If you’d like to give back and keep us ticking over then please do donate. Click here.
