A mindful yoga practice focusing on the body and sensations (somatic awareness) with meditative, dynamic sequences and breath work. Suitable for all levels of experience.

About Jo:

Jo has been teaching yoga for 9 years.  She trained extensively with Sun Power Yoga and BodhiYoga, a form of practice developed by Triratna Order Members Sudaka and Sadhita  with a specialised focus on mindful yoga, somatic awareness and yoga for remedial injury therapy. She has also recently undertaken Well Woman Yoga Therapy Training with Uma Dinsmore Tuli.

Jo teaches a combination of pranayama, dynamic sequences, posture work and restorative practice to nourish and develop strength, flexibility and well being in mind and body, suitable for all levels of experience.

Jo’s yoga practice is deeply inspired by her Buddhist practice; she has been practising with the Triratna Buddhist movement for the past 12 years and is currently training for Ordination.
