LIGHTING UP THE DARK… MAKING CLAY LOTUS TEALIGHT HOLDERS

The invitation for this session is to come and explore clay and connect with all the possibilities it provides. We will reflect on the lotus flower and what it represents as it blooms in dark muddy waters bringing beauty and light from the dark depths of the earth.

Using clay (the stuff of the earth) we will make tealight holders to keep our light burning as we navigate ourselves through the winter months. You may come with an idea that is meaningful for you, you may base it on a poem, teaching or story… the space will be free for you to explore. We will be using either air-dry clay or kiln fired clay (for you to cook at home!).

No experience needed. All equipment will be provided. Bring a Tupperware or similar container to take your creation home with.
