Make and meditate: Vision Boarding

Make and meditate: Vision Boarding

Sun Jan 26th 2025 10:00am - 1:00pm

Here we are at the start of a new year. Traditionally this is the time of New
Year resolutions – made with good intention but often unrealistic and hard to
keep. In this first Make & Meditate workshop of 2025 the invitation is to use
vision boarding to take stock of where we are and what we would like to move
towards. Creating a vision board is a playful and creative way of looking at
aspirations for the year ahead….A way of exploring and expressing the
longings of our hearts’ and moving away from to-do lists and the need to
achieve.
We will have a period of reflection – a chance to ask what values are
important to us? What would we like to bring more of into our lives? What
visions do we have for relationships with self or others? We can then have
fun using images and words from magazines, crayons, pens, paints and
stickers to create a unique collage.
The morning will conclude with a meditation together.
As always the shrine room is available if you wish to sit or lie quietly during
the morning. All materials are supplied and no artistic skills needed.
