Finding Freedom - Introductory Retreat
Note: Bookings are for in person only.
No need to take the week off work! This Retreat Week (18th – 25th June) will start with a weekend at the centre, followed by online morning meditation classes and in person Buddhism classes in the evenings throughout the week. It will then end on Saturday 25th with a half day at the centre.
We cover the same content as the ‘Introductory Course’ but over one week, giving you access to our community (Sangha) events at the centre including more advanced meditation and Buddhism classes.
Finding Freedom in a Restricted World
Uncover genuine ease, contentment and meaning in life through exploring profound yet simple teachings. Come together with others to learn, discuss and discover the means to uncover how to become the change you want to see.
We will introduce meditation and Buddhism over the course of the week. The Buddhist context helps meditation to be a real power for change. There will be input from the experienced teaching team plus an opportunity for small group discussions to figure things out for yourself. We will send up email summaries to keep as a reminder and deepen your understanding.
No charge but we welcome your donations to keep us running and sharing Buddhism and meditation with the people of Bristol.
To benefit most from this course we strongly encourage you to commit to attending the whole course if possible.
If you cannot attend, please do cancel your place by emailing info@bristol-buddhist-centre.org . This will let us give your place to someone else.
