Introductory Introductory Meditation

Uncover genuine ease, contentment and meaning in life through exploring profound yet simple teachings. Come together with others to learn, discuss and discover the means to uncover how to become the change you want to see.

Each evening will be partly introducing meditation and partly about the Buddhist context, that helps meditation to be a real power for change. There will be input from the experienced teaching team plus an opportunity for small group discussion. We will email you material to follow up the sessions and to take your understanding and experience deeper.

The Retreat Day:

Deepen your meditation practice and integrate the teachings you find helpful into your daily life. We will be exploring the classic Buddhist teaching of the Noble Eightfold Path for this practical and engaging retreat day. There will be teaching, discussion and meditation, as well as time to get to know one another.

Please bring a vegetarian/vegan dish to share at lunch.

For 6 weeks on Monday evenings: 16th Oct – 20th Nov and a Retreat Day 25th November 10am-5pm.

Dates: 16th, 23rd, 30th Oct evenings; 6th, 13th, 20th Nov evenings; and a full day on 25th Nov.

No set charge but we ask for your donations to keep us sharing meditation and Buddhism with the people of Bristol.
