Retreat

Do you ever feel weighed down by the hyperavailability of information online, or by superstimulation? Do you find yourself angsting over what and how to broadcast on social media? If so, you are definitely not alone.

We are really excited to invite you to be part of these conversations looking at how we can navigate the challenges of dwelling in the digital realm – the ‘Cyberloka’; seeing how we can use Buddhist insights to work with awareness and mindfulness to manage and flourish in the digital age.

Led by guest Order Member Prajnaketu as part of the launch of his new book, ‘Cyberloka’, this will be a fantastic opportunity to explore these themes together, and there will be a chance to buy a copy of the book on the day.

Bring a veggie/vegan lunch to share on the day.

The retreat is open to all. Book online!

By donation.

Prajnaketu introduces his book!

We are able to run fantastic events like this one, because people have donated in the past. We run on the generosity of those attending to keep sharing meditation and Buddhism with the people of Bristol. Please give. Thank you.

Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity in the way we share Buddhist teachings. Therefore all our meditation and Buddhism activities are offered on a generosity basis – what you contribute is left to your generosity. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to or can't afford to, but we hope you'll be able to contribute appropriately so more people can benefit. To learn more see donate
