Inspired by the book “Approaching Enlightenment” written by Bodhidasa (https://www.windhorsepublications.com/product/approaching-enlightenment-pb/), Kamalavajra will lead an evening exploring Buddhist Ritual. We’ll explore some of the following questions and topics:

– Is Buddhist Ritual a form of magic?

– Why engage in Buddhist Ritual?

– How to engage and does it matter?

– Enacting and re-enacting skilful expressions through the common Triratna ritual of the Seven Fold Puja.

The evening will include:

– Meditation

– Short talks

– Practicing Ritual

– Discussion

– and a chance to chat over a cup of tea!

Join Kamalavajra and the Bristol Young Buddhists Team at Bristol Buddhist Centre from 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start.

Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity in the way we share Buddhist teachings. Therefore most of our meditation and Buddhism activities are offered on a generosity basis – what you contribute is left to your generosity. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to or can't afford to, but we hope you'll be able to contribute appropriately so more people can benefit. To learn more see donate
