Bristol Young Buddhists - Near Death Experiences
This event has already happened.
‘Near death experiences have previously been considered unworthy of science but, now that these experiences are being seriously acknowledged and are a valid area for scientific study, it seems that we are on the threshold of expanding our current knowledge about the meaning of life and death.‘
6:30pm (still the earlier start time!) until 8:30 with a chance to chat afterwards
Back by popular demand! We will be joining in with the second seminar of the Nature of Mind project (no need to have attended the first seminar).
Penny Sartori works as a nurse and researches near death experiences. The seminar looks into Penny’s work and relates it to Buddhist thought and how it is relevant to our lives. Listen to the talk here to prep for the session.
We will join the seminar online, but will do all discussion sections ‘in house’, and there’s a chance to chat afterwards.
‘With our current technology and consumerist, materialist way of life, we have forgotten the most important thing – how to live.’
