THIS MONTH

For this very special BYB evening, we will be hosting a group of young Buddhists from Alfoxton Park Retreat Centre, not far from Bristol in the wild and magical Quantocks of Somerset. Our friends will give us a brief introduction to and history of the Alfoxton story so far, before sharing their own individual experiences of life in a Buddhist community at a retreat centre. There’ll also be the chance to ask questions, of which there will certainly be many! A unique opportunity not to be missed.

For each evening, an Order Member gives a talk or workshop on an aspect of the Dharma or Buddhist practice, usually relating it in some way to modern Western life.
