This month we are looking at the Jataka Tales. Stories about the Buddha’s previous lives, human or animal! (or even sometimes plant). A magical, mythical set of nature-filled tales to inspire and entertain us. (Remember not to take everything literally!) Imagination is key to our growth and development as people, as well as to our happiness.

Explore with us what we can learn through story, myth and metaphor. Lots of space for discussion and reflection.

With Shantigharba and the BYB Team. Come along!

We are asking for you to do a lateral flow test before attending an event at the centre. Do bring a mask with you for when walking around the building (not whilst sitting and socially distanced), and we may request mask wearing for the benefit of a clinically vulnerable person.

If you are clinically vulnerable then contact the class leader to discuss your needs prior to the event.

Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity in the way we share Buddhist teachings. Therefore all our meditation and Buddhism activities are offered on a generosity basis – what you contribute is left to your generosity. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to or can't afford to, but we hope you'll be able to contribute appropriately so more people can benefit. To learn more see donate
