“Honest collision is better than dishonest collusion.” Sangharakshita

In the last two BYB evenings we’ve reflected on the importance of spiritual friendship, and you joined us in a communication workshop. This evening we invite you to bring these two elements together.

When we are suffering we notice that our mental states can often be in a judging mode – labelling and separating “them” from “us”. We suffer because we lack connection with others.

Communication is vital to deepen our connection with others. If it comes from a volition to be honest, kind, timely and helpful.

You are warmly invited to join us in an evening where we will consider the fourth precept (I undertake the training to abstain from false speech) and how we can apply it to our lives to improve our friendships and bring us into closer, more meaningful relationship with others.

Just turn up on the night! 162 Gloucester Road.

Our aim is to inspire a culture of generosity in the way we share Buddhist teachings. Therefore all our meditation and Buddhism activities are offered on a generosity basis – what you contribute is left to your generosity. You don't have to give anything if you don't want to or can't afford to, but we hope you'll be able to contribute appropriately so more people can benefit. To learn more see donate
