Aged 18 - 35

Back to our more usual format and the normal time of 7:30pm!

An animist approach can bring vibrancy to everyday experience. It can lead to deep and profound connection with the world, both natural and manmade. It can offer the materials to create a supportive cradle, for holding the pains of the world, as well as sparking joy in the smallest happening.

Join us to find out what ‘animism’ is and get a taste of viewing the world through animistic glasses.

“…the division between the inner and outer worlds is a product of dualistic thinking. Rather than any division between a thing called matter and a thing called mind, or a thing called body and a thing called consciousness, there is a continuity running all the way through, a continuity of our awareness patterned in different ways. If we really understand this, those inner and outer worlds become interfused in a deeper, more meaningful vision of what it is to be alive.” from Living with Awareness, Sangharakshita

The evening will involve a short talk, meditative reflections and exercises, as well as an opportunity for discussion.

With Esme, Dayajoti and the Bristol Young Buddhists Team.

Arrive from 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start.

For those aged between 18 and 35.
