TRIRATNA – THE EARLY DAYS with KULAMITRA
“Things were rather different back then”
This month, Kulamitra will be sharing his experience of the early years of Triratna – known back then as the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order – his ordination in 1977, and his memories of Sangharakshita.
After his talk Kulamitra will offer a Q&A which will be a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the man who founded our movement and the principles it was founded on.
Bristol-based? Under 35? Buddhism-curious?
We warmly welcome you to come along to our monthly gathering of young people, keen to learn more about the Dharma and what a life of spiritual practice might look like in this day and age, in our part of the world.
For each evening, an Order Member gives a talk or workshop on an aspect of the Dharma or Buddhist practice, usually relating it in some way to modern Western life.
First Friday of every month at the Bristol Buddhist Centre
Bring your curiosity. No need to book, just come along!
