Sangha Meditation Class (intermediate)
During this term, up until April, we will be exploring the Mindfulness of Breathing meditation practice. The tradition of mindfulness in spiritual practice is well established. But what is mindfulness and where does it lead? How can we learn to develop this quality, especially in a world that so often seems to pull us in a different direction?

Sangha Works
The shape of sangha works is a gentle group check in, followed by sangha-building devotional acts-such as cleaning the loo’s, planting bulbs, sorting library books, making book displays and making shrines. A task to fit each persons energy and capacity.
We have a mindfulness bell, to pause and notice what the mind is up to, throughout the session. Stay on after the lunchtime meditation class (1-2.30pm) or just turn up to dip your toe into the Triratna sangha more...

Meditation for Beginners
Our beginners classes are a great way to sample meditation for the first time or to get refreshing support and clarity to help you set up a regular practice.
Full instructions will be given including how to sit comfortably in a chair or on cushions on the floor.
