Sangha Circle
Our tradition places great emphasis on building Sangha (a friendly community of individuals practising the Dharma, the Buddha’s teachings, alongside each other). Possibly because of the experience of the pandemic we may be noticing how we are by nature social creatures: We need each other to know ourselves. This is a safe and open space in which to be with others to bring kind attention to how we relate to others and just as importantly, ourselves.

The Mirror of Myriad Worlds - Sangha Night
Worlds defined by pride, addiction, hatred, delusion, ignorance and attachment swirl within and around us. To step into the potential of our life we need to know where we stand. This is the first step on the path of liberation. This week we will be exploring the imagery of the six realms. Where do we find ourselves?
Be the Revolution course on the Wheel of Life – with Bhadra. Week 3/6 – no need to have attended previous weeks.

Going Deeper in Meditation
Metta Beyond Beings
As in last month’s session, we’ll practise bringing metta to ‘phenomena’: all of our experience, as it unfolds through the six senses. We’ll also explore ‘Metta with No Reference’. In this practice we drop the sense of metta having any object at all. We also let go of the sense of a subject who sends or generates the metta. Finally we see if it’s possible to let go of the experience of metta needing any more...

Parinirvana Day
The Buddha’s parinirvana was his final and perfect enlightenment, a cessation of all the remaining conditions leading to suffering that are part and parcel of a human life. It is the realisation of the highest goal of human life: pure enlightened awareness.
On Parinirvana Day we will be celebrating the Buddha’s life and recalling his parinirvana with a day of practice.
In the morning we will have a series of reading from the final days of the Buddha’s more...

Slowing the Momentum of Delusion - Sangha Night
The momentum of the spinning wheel is slowed by facing our delusions. Are we looking for a better life somewhere else in the future or can we be the revolution here and now? Could we dare place faith in finding the power of a skilful compassionate response simply by trusting the power of living in awareness as the primary act of revolution? Let’s see what the image suggests.
